Re-Elect Judge Joseph “Tad” Halbach

Thank you! The fact that you are visiting my website shows that you have an interest in the upcoming election for Judge of the 333rd Civil District Court. I am thrilled that you have decided to learn more about me and my campaign for this important position. I hope that you will read on to see that I am a fair and honest family man who has devoted my life to public service.

Sixteen years ago, I became the judge of this court. Frankly, it’s hard to believe that time has gone by so fast. I have been privileged to serve in such an exciting and challenging position. There is always something new – whether it is a change in the law, a novel set of facts, or just meeting new parties. It is truly an honor to serve and I thank you all for this opportunity.

My wife of more than 27 years, Susan, my two wonderful sons (22 and 20), and I are all very excited about the upcoming election. We know that the future of Harris County will be determined this November of 2012, and we hope that you will help us in the effort to ensure that strong, principled judges like me hold their benches.

Judge Joseph “Tad” Halbach was appointed Judge of the 333rd Civil District Court in October of 1995. He was elected in November of 1996 and then re-elected without opposition in 2000 and 2004. During his 13 years on the bench, Judge Halbach has served as the Harris County Civil Administrative Judge and on the Harris County Juvenile Board.
