More than 21 years ago, I became the judge of this court. Frankly, it's hard to believe that time has gone by so fast. I have been privileged to serve in such an exciting and challenging position. There is always something new – whether it is a change in the law, a novel set of facts, or just meeting new parties. It is truly an honor to serve and I thank you all for this opportunity. I remain committed to fair and efficient justice, and committed to keeping you, the people of Harris County, protected.
“It was an honor to serve in your court. You moved the case along and kept good control of the courtroom. Keep up the good work.”
“You had a very good sense of humor with all of us jurors, you were pleasant and showed respect for all of us and that made us feel that we were important and appreciated.”
